Well, for those of you who are not aware, the Nashville Sounds have been trying to get a new ballpark built in downtown Nashville for years. If anyone has ever been to AutoZone Park in Memphis, you can realize the importance of this for our team (and my job). Last Tuesday, the Metro Council voted 'yes' to the second reading of the bill that supports the new stadium. We only have one more vote to pass through and all of our dreams will begin to become reality. So keep your fingers crossed and I'll update when we get the final word. In the meantime, if anyone living in or around the Nashville area would like to write their local councilman, there is a link from the Sounds website (www.nashvillesounds.com) to the Metro Council website.
