The girls of apartment 1105 awoke early Saturday morning to get ready for the airport. Our flight was at 7:30am, so we hoped to be at the airport by 6:00. I walk out to my car around 5:35 and see this....
yes, that is my car on the right there. MY BRAND NEW CAR!!! I'VE ONLY MADE 2 PAYMENTS! But I digress... So this car has backed into mine. The car is still running and still in reverse! Whoever backed into me couldn't even put the car in Park! The car is there, but there is no one with the car. I start honking the horn hoping that whoever hit me will come out of there house so that I can fight them. A man walks out of his apartment. I go "IS THIS YOUR CAR!!!???!!!" He says no, but that this truck has sat here, like this, backed into mine, for hours! He says he thinks another lady had called the police already but no one had come yet. So I call the police again. They come quickly. Apparently some people had been breaking into cars in our complex. They think they had stolen this truck and apparently just abandonded it when they hit me.... (yeah, it doesn't make sense to me either). The cops had seen the guys at one point and chased them into the woods, but never caught them. So after awhile I go "um, we have a plane to catch, can someone move this truck please?" They move it and we head to the airport. The crash looks way worse than the damage. Just a few scratches on my bumper. If it had been my Camaro there's no telling how it would've been. Anyways...on to the good pics!This is us on the ship before it left Miami...
